Kaleidoscope Camp

Kaleidoscope Camp was this morning!

Campers used pattern blocks to build kaleidoscope-like patterns. We learned about how Kaleidoscopes work as we looked through at least seven different kaleidoscopes. Using hinged mirrors campers explored how many reflections of the same object they could get by changing the hinge angle. Then Campers had fun creating their Kaleidoscope inspired paintings. They drew Mandalas inspired by the theme of their choice. Everyone also got a turn in the human-sized Kaleidoscope. As one camper noted: "It isn't very interesting inside, but the photos are awesome."
