Fabulous “Fiber Arts Fun” Camp

During "Fiber Arts Fun" camp campers learned to:

  • tie-dye shirts

  • dye fabric using fiber reactive dyes

  • indigo dye shirts and fabric

  • use a sewing machine to sew their fabric blocks and pillow case

  • embroider embellishments on their pillows

  • use freezer paper printing technique to embellish their pillows

  • create crayon batik designs to embellish their pillows

  • weave

  • use Sharpie and rubbing alcohol to create a more controlled tie-dye effect.

It was INTENSE and we had soooo much fun!
