I LOVE Spring bulb flowers!!!

I have crocus scattered across my front yard. Apparently local squirrels and chipmunks discovered the bulbs in their original garden bed and relocated them, but then lost track or interest. So now each Spring it is a treasure hunt looking for single blooms or small clumps of crocus.

First crocus of the season bloomed on cloudy Valentine's Day

In the cold morning after Valentine's Day more buds join the tightly closed Valentine's Day crocus

Once the crocus are done blooming the daffodils begin. I have several varieties of daffodils that bloom in waves in my garden. I also have Grape Hyacinth, Jacob’s Ladder, and Hyacinth amoung my spring blooms.
