Indigo Quilt Series
As a friend and I discussed our next creative summer adventure, she suggested we experiment with the Indigo dye kit she had received for Christmas. Our first results were amazing! So we spent the next week preparing more fabric. Our second results were even better. That was summer of 2017 and I am still smitten with indigo. Although I have learned to control some things, I love the serendipity of never knowing for sure but always being pleased with the outcome of each dye session. Even fabric that is disappointing is easily improved by a return to the vat. I enjoy the process of laying out my indigo fabric and letting various pieces call out and tell me what quilt they want to become. Enjoy my Indigo Quilt Series gallery below!
