“Landscape Collage” Drop-in Camp

Campers had so much fun learning a variety of paint techniques:

  • Spraying with a toothbrush

  • Blowing with a straw

  • Dabbing with a sponge

  • Using a piece of yarn to swish and splat

  • Adding salt to wet watercolor paint

  • Using wet-on-wet technique to paint skies including:

    • clear blue

    • blue with puffy clouds

    • pending storm

    • dusk/dawn

    • sunset

    • cloudy night

    • dark night

We were able to dry all our explorations in the warm sunshine so campers could use their fancy new papers to create Landscape Collages.
