“Trip Around the World” Camp

Highlights from "Trip Around the World" Camp.

After looking at real passports, we created our own passports. We included Illuminated Letters inspired by European medieval illuminated letters.

We wove baskets inspired by Zulu baskets of South Africa.

We created plaster masks inspired by masks of Mali, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, and Dem. Rep. of the Congo.

We printed radial symmetry patterns inspired by Islamic Ceramic Tiles.

We designed amazing cars inspired by Classic Cars of Cuba.

And inspired by Japanese Dragons we created our own Japanese Dragon puppets.

These campers were super creative, quick to catch on, great at following instructions, and very attentive to details. We enjoyed our week together!!!
